Bayer helps earthquake victims in Ecuador and Japan
Drug and monetary donations totaling around EUR 320,000
Leverkusen, May 6, 2016 – Bayer is supporting victims of the devastating earthquakes in Ecuador and Japan with donations worth EUR 320,000. In Ecuador, the company is providing medicines worth a total of EUR 250,000 for medical care in the earthquake zone. The donation is being coordinated through the Association of the Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry, which works closely with the Ministry of Health. In Japan, Bayer is supporting the relief effort of the Red Cross with a donation of EUR 73,000.
